Applications are now available for the Directing Workshop for Women at the American Film Institute. Since 1974, AFI has offered this unique tuition-free training workshop which provides the opportunity for participants to direct a digital short. The program has launched the career of many working directors including Tricia Brock (30 ROCK, BREAKING BAD, UNITED STATES OF TARA, ); Hanelle Culpepper (90210, PARENTHOOD); Jennifer Getzinger (MAD MEN, SUITS, HUNG, THE KILLING); and Maya Angelou (DOWN IN THE DELTA).
