Call for PAs: John Adrian Riley (Albemarle Productions) will be shooting “Ole Buzzards,” a short film set in the late 1800s to early 1900s, Labor Day weekend, May 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th. It will be shot on location at his studio south of Wilmington, Ohio. He needs 3 or 4 additional crew members. Auditions – May 10 and 11: “Amy,” a 30-45 minute film, is a freshmen effort by writer and director Evie Warner, founder of RenRaw Films. All volunteers will be offered credit and a copy of the film. Great opportunity to help build a portfolio and gain valuable experience. Filming is expected to start in June. Most filming will be on Saturdays. One location is on Wright State Campus. Description: Amy doesn’t remember what happened to her and a fellow classmate when they were kidnapped several weeks ago. Her freshest memory is being found wondering along road in the woods. Call for Extras – May 11, 8 PM – 1 AM: Short Film “To the Rescue” is a junior thesis film from a team with the Motion Pictures program about a young woman, Addie, who starts dating a recovering alcoholic, Lukas. After an AA meeting one evening, the first that the couple has attended together, Lukas tells Addie that should he relapse, they have to break up. Then Lukas relapses and Addie must decide if a relationship with Lukas is really right for her.
