April FilmConnections Presents Joel Levinson: Comedy Writer, Filmmaker, Professional Contest Winner

FilmDayton welcomes comedy writer, musician, filmmaker and professional contestant, Joel Levinson!

About the Joel Levinson

One half of the Dayton born comedy duo, “The Levinson Brothers”, Joel will give us some insight to his life as a working comedy writer, filmmaker, musician, and professional contest winner. Yes, you read that correctly, professional contest winner. While brother Stephen holds down the LA office for the duo, Joel has returned to the Dayton area to raise his small children with wife Randi.
While not commuting to LA and working on film projects, Joel continues his work as the first professional online video contest winner. He’s won everything from a years supply of chocolate milk to a trip to Antarctica. He’s currently working on an authorized biography of Jonathan “Dr. Katz:Professional Therapist.” The Levinson’s are in pre-production for their first feature length comedy to be filmed in Dayton next summer.
Joel and brother were co-creators of the music & comedy album “2776”, which featured some of the today’s biggest names in comedy. All proceeds from “2776” went to charity and is still available. For more info on Joel and Stephens joint projects, go to www.Levinsonbrothers.com.
